Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE would be conducting the CBSE 10, 12 Exam 2018 from March 2018. While there have been reports that CBSE is unlikely to advance the board examinations to the month of February, sources have hinted on the likelihood of examinations starting from February 26 or 27. Sources, familiar with the CBSE pattern of setting examination date sheet for class 10th and 12th boards have shared that the festival of Holi could cause the board examinations of CBSE to start from February 26 or 27th in 2018.
The festival of Holi would be celebrated across the country on March 1 and 2, 2018. Due to the festival, the CBSE board examinations, if starting from March, would be pushed further to March 3. The possibility of the examinations getting further delayed is the weekend that falls immediately after the festivities. While it may seem like just two days, said an expert, the entire date sheet gets pushed back. In order to compensate for the two holidays that cannot be avoided, the board may advance the boards by two days. In all likelihood, the board examinations would then start from February 26 or 27th, 2018.
