PSC Miscellaneous 2019

Public Service Commission of West Bengal (PSC) published a new notification for PSC Miscellaneous 2019 Exam. The Result of PSC Miscellaneous 2018 Recruitment is not completed yet. But don’t worry, vacancies would not be overridden. The vacancies shown in this notification is the latest vacancies generated after the 2018 notification. Hope PSC will appoint the successful candidates of 2018 first.

PSC Miscellaneous Salary

Basic: PB-3 (₹7100-₹37600)

Grade Pay: ₹3900 or ₹3600 (as per post category)

Initial Net Pay in hand (as per the latest Pay rule of WB govt.): ₹26,500/-

Eligibility for PSC Miscellaneous 2019

  • Age: 20 to 39 on or before 01/01/2019
  • Education: A degree from Recognised University
  • Citizenship: Must be Indian
  • Other: Ability to Speak, Read & Write in Bengali/Nepali

Application Process & Fees

  • Only Online method
  • If you are already registered on the PSC portal, just log in and apply.
  • Application fees: ₹160/- (General, OBC). Free for SC/ST/PWD.

Exam Pattern and Recruitment process

  • There are Three exams to be conducted: Preliminary, Mains (Final) and Personality Test
  • Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the Final exam & Personality test only.

There are Three Successive Stages i.e. Preliminary Exam (Objective), Final Exam (Conventional) & Personality Test. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Exam will not be counted for the purpose of determining the final merit list
