JEE Main 2017 Result

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday will declare the results of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper-1 & also publish list of Top 2,20,000 Candidates who are eligible for JEE Advanced. The exam is held to shortlist candidates seeking admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes at National Institutes of Technology (NIT), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT) and other centrally-funded technical institutions (CFTI). The Score and All India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main 2017 will be announced on same date. JEE Main 2017 result will be declared for all 10,15349 candidates who have appeared in pen & paper on April 2 and 1,83,640 candidates who have appeared for the computer based mode exam on April 8 and 9, 2017. The result will display the actual scores obtained by a candidate in the exam as well as the All India Rank (AIR) along with the category rank. While checking JEE Main 2017 result, candidates can also know whether they will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2017 or not. As per the official notification, class 12th marks will not be considered while computing the JEE Main rank. The result of JEE Main paper 2 will be announced on May 27, 2017

• Kalpit Veerwal: AIR-01, Scored 360 out of 360. He is is fond of playing cricket, badminton and music, said he has not yet decided about his career plans but wants to seek admission in IIT-Mumbai to pursue computer science.
• Vrunda Rathi: AIR-71, Female Topper, Scored 321 out of 360. She is from Nashik, Maharashtra is also a classical Flute player. She wants to study at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore over the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). She intends to pursue her Bachelor in Science (BSc) from IISc, Bangalore, as she aspires to be a Researcher, though she is yet to pick up a major.

Now that you have checked your JEE Main result, you will have come to know whether you have qualified for JEE Advanced 2017.If yes, then the application forms for JEE Advanced will be available from April 28. You must register and fill the same. But first, you must download and save your JEE Main result and rank card. This will be required for their admissions. If you are are not in the top 2,20,000 candidates shortlisted for JEE Advanced, then you must also plan further for your state counselling processes in addition to applying to the private institutes and universities which take the JEE Main scores for their admission purposes. You must also prepare for the admissions through JoSAA 2017 to the 31 NITs, 20 IIITs and 18 GFTIs that will start tentatively in June.
